Description:

This course will help students to develop connections between basic research on genetics and human diseases from the perspectives of medicine and patients. It gives students a detail understanding of the application and impact of molecular biology, genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics on medicine. Students will gain a better understanding of how genes are analyzed and genetic diseases are studied and diagnosed, and how genetic information can be used in molecular medicine for the prevention and treatment of diseases.
