Description: | This course introduces students to the current principles and practices in the management of health services organisations. Students will learn about the planning and implementation of policies at these work settings. Practices in user service skills, communication skills, employee motivation and staff training options will be discussed. Selected topics of particular concern to the community, such as medical error reduction and quality assurance, will also be discussed. |
