| Description: | This course will equip students with knowledge in microscopic examination of tissue in order to study the manifestation of disease. Various techniques in tissue preparation, processing and staining will be introduced. Histological slides with pathological tissue samples will be examined. Basic interpretation of pathological slides will be taught during the course. Visit to the hospital lab will be arranged so that students can observe the daily practice of a histopathology lab. |
