🎓✨ Last Saturday, the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐁𝐒) & 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 (𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐏𝐇𝐏𝐂), CUHK, hosted an inspiring faculty showcase event! The workshop, “Eating with Dignity,” explored the elderly’s quality of life from both Biomedical Sciences & Public Health perspectives.

A huge thank you to 𝐃𝐫 𝐋𝐀𝐔 𝐒𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐠𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐧 (Programme Director of BSc in Biomedical Sciences) and 𝐃𝐫 𝐘𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐲 (Deputy Programme Director of BSc in Public Health) for leading the session and sharing valuable insights on the daily needs of elderly people. The participating students worked in groups to prepare soft meals with their own hands, then shared a meal together to experience the process firsthand. 🍽️💪
